What is your Return Policy?
At Venture Craft Co., we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:
1. Return Window
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.
2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
- If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.
4. Changed Your Mind?
If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).
5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.
If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@venturecraftco.com and we’ll look into it immediately.
6. Restocking Fees
In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.
Product Description
New to Baby Lock's line-up is the Capella Embroidery Machine. This single-needle, free-arm machine is ideal for the hobbyist or those with a small embroidery business. It has an embroidery field large enough to rival a six to eight-needle machine at 7-7/8" by 11-3/4". With all that space, you can enjoy any of the 175 built-in designs, 39 fonts, or 120 frame combinations. Its crosshair positioning laser allows for perfect embroidery design placement, while the free arm makes embroidering hard-to-hoop items easier. Controlling all of the features packed into the Capella is easy with the TruView LCD touchscreen that will bring your designs to life. This powerhouse of a machine will tackle large projects with ease while embroidering up to 1000 stitches per minute. It can even embroider on stuffed animals, tote bags, and hats! The categories of pre-installed designs include florals, quilting, home accents, novelty, badges, sashiko, sportograms, and variety. Mixed in these categories are 50 exclusive Baby Lock Designs. All these designs allow you to always find inspiration without the hassle of searching for, purchasing, and installing designs.
SINGLE-NEEDLE, FREE-ARM EMBROIDERY
With its single needle and free arm, the Capella is engineered to embroider an array of designs in hard-to-reach areas such as inside pockets, hats, tote bags, and more.
CROSSHAIR POSITIONING LASER
When you need precise placement, the crosshair positioning laser is a lifesaver. You can preview the position of your embroidery design and adjust the position and angle for accurate alignment. This is useful when embroidering in an area where it is necessary to align patterns, like words.
Automatic Basting
Before embroidering, basting stitches can be embroidered along the outline of the pattern. Basting is useful for embroidering fabric that cannot have stabilizer material affixed with an iron or adhesive. Stitching stabilizer material to the fabric can minimize shrinkage of the stitching or misaligned patterns. It's recommended to finish combining and editing the pattern before selecting the basting setting. Suppose the pattern is edited after selecting the basting setting. In that case, the basting and pattern may become misaligned, and the basting under the pattern may be difficult to remove after the embroidering is complete.
AUTOMATIC NEEDLE THREADER
Kick off your stitching with straightforward, simple threading. The automatic needle threader accurately pushes your thread through the eye of the needle, so you spend less time trying to thread your machine manually. When using 65/9 needles or thinner, manually thread the needle. If the automatic needle threading mechanism is used, its hook may be damaged.
7-7/8” X 11-3/4” EMBROIDERY FIELD
Not only is this machine able to maneuver in compact areas, it has one of the largest embroidery fields for a single needle embroidery machine on the market at 7-7/8” by 11-3/4”. This large space allows for easy embroidery on jackets, bags, and more, all without repositioning. This large space allows for a vast range of designs to be used by entrepreneurs and domestic embroiderers alike.
BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER
Effortlessly wind bobbins with the quick-set bobbin winder that is operated independently by its own motor. The winder seat holds the thread set up and stops automatically when the bobbin is full. For best results, use cotton or spun polyester bobbin thread (from #90 to 120, or 74 dtex/2 to 100 dtex/2).
CONVENIENT BOBBIN SYSTEM
Bobbin changes are a snap with this front-loading bobbin system. You don't even have to remove the hoop. The vertical hook makes bobbin insertion quick and straightforward. Ensure the thread winds off the bobbin clockwise. If the bobbin is installed with the thread winding off in the opposite direction, your embroidery will not stitch properly.
Truview Designer
The high-definition TruView LCD touchscreen brings your embroidery designs to life. It displays over 260,000 colors, so every image is vivid and bold. Plus, the large touchscreen buttons help quickly edit designs and access machine settings.
DESIGN TRACE
Design Trace will be one of your favorite features that the Capella has to offer! This function will move your hoop around and show your pattern's position. Carefully watch the movement of the embroidery frame and ensure that the embroidery will stitch in the desired location and that the embroidery frame does not hit the presser foot. Design trace will give you peace of mind, knowing that your design will be embroidered right where you want it!
MULTI-LINE TEXT AND JUSTIFICATION
Create multiple lines of text quickly and easily without needing constant rehooping. You can also center or justify your text alignment to precisely achieve the desired look.
38 BUILT-IN FONTS
The Capella has 38 built-in, editable fonts to create distinct projects. Font designs include a large floral alphabet, Greek letters, a large appliqué alphabet, and a Baby Lock exclusive font.
JUMP STITCHES
When jump stitches are set to be trimmed, you will no longer have to spend time "cleaning up" your embroidery after stitching. Have the Capella automatically cut threads in the middle of an individual color segment instead of after each color. You can also choose whether or not jump stitches are trimmed in imported designs. This makes it so the thread no longer travels across the hoop or your design when changing positions, making your embroidery cleaner than ever. If the pattern has multiple trims, it is recommended to select a higher jump stitch trim setting to reduce the number of excess tails on the wrong side of the fabric.
BUILT-IN TROUBLESHOOTING
The Capella includes built-in instructional videos on some of people's most common questions. Explanations for upper threading, winding the bobbin, installing the bobbin, pattern selection, character patterns, thread color sorting, preparing to embroider a pattern, basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and more are just some of the videos you will find. With all the built-in help in the Capella, you will feel comfortable and confident with this advanced machine.
ON-SCREEN EDITING
Make changes such as resizing, rotation, and placement to your embroidery design directly on the built-in screen. Changes will update live on the screen, making it super easy to make tweaks. Other features include the ability to combine designs, 1 ° 10 ° and 90 ° pattern rotation, design size change (10% reduction and 20% enlargement), mirror imaging, and color selections.
